I'm still experiencing this problem. In my case, when I restart my slimserver service, it clears the database but doesn't start a scan.
It only seems to drop the database content when I start the service up. It doesn't seem to drop content if the content was loaded using Browse Music Folder; only if I have performed a scan and then restart. Any ideas on how to solve this problem much appreciated!
