I didn't want to use them neither - we stuck with them for simplicity. But otoh 
I'm not sure we could reliably manage dynamic paging without running into 
memory issues. Keeping stuff in a frame at least prevents this...

We're considering this. But we'll have keep an eye on browser's behaviour.
