I'd go for the mini. It has the same innards as a laptop, so its faster CPU makes it the winner for me. Its power consumption is probably equivalent. Perhaps it won't boot without a screen attached, you may want to check that.
However, I do not know if a recent SBS (7.6) will run on PowerPC. I've seen a post by someone with a PPC/OS X 10.4 having issues starting the server. The number of OS X/PPC users is very small compared to OS X/Intel... You might look at installing a recent linux ubuntu desktop for PPC. The G4 should have no trouble running it, and SBS 7.6 will fly. -- epoch1970 Daily dose delivered by: 3 SB Classic, 1 SB Boom iPeng (iPhone + iPad) Squeezebox Server 7.6 (Debian 5.0) with plugins: MusicIP Server Power Control by Gordon Harris WeatherTime by Martin Rehfeld IRBlaster by Gwendesign (Felix) Find cover art by bpa BBC iPlayer, SwitchPlayer by Triode PowerSave by Jason Holtzapple TrackStat, Song Info, Song Lyrics by Erland Isaksson SaverSwitcher, ContextMenu by Peter Watkins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89317
