I have two Pis set up this way. One works, sort of, and the other does not. The one that "works" only works when I set the alarm for a GMT time that corresponds to my -8 time zone. The other doesn't To use the Jivelite time/date screensaver I had to key in in my timezone. The internet time server default doesn't work.
