I haven't been back on here in a while, but starting late this summer I have also been experiencing intermittent alarm issues. The same as described by others. The alarm is set to an internet radio station, also a favorite. When it fails, and this is maybe once every 1-2 weeks, when I hit the favorite, it fades back in like it was the alarm fade in. I have a second alarm that goes on later in the morning and that one seems to always fire as expected. In the past when the player failed to download the radio stream, it would blare and obnoxious internal "song" that would be harsh, but much more effective than deafening silence. Last failure was Monday morning (6 days ago). Hardware is Squeezebox Radio. Today I upgraded to the 8.4 thread, which is what brought me back to this forum. In the poll I said I was on the community firmware, but when I looked, I'm in Firmware: 7.7.3-r16676, so I guess I'm not on the community version.
