I like the idea of being able to play games at my leisure, from home, and against either actual people or with AI. I'd probably be more interested in the AI than actual people, so if I have to step away from the computer, I'm not impacting other folks. I seem to be pulled in many directions when I'm home. :)
Personally, I would probably be more intersted in the ability to play a variety of games, and not be restricted to only one game. Maybe a one month subscription to 10 games or a "punchcard" where I can play 10 individual games of my choice. With the punchcard you could have it where you get more bang for your buck if you buy more bulk, i.e. 1 game for $2, 6 games for $10, 15 for $20, and so on. For other folks, I'm sure a monthly unlimited subscription would be more attractive, whether it's for a single game or for access to a larger area. Since some popular games are currently out of print, it would be a great way for people who no longer have a copy or can't get a copy of a game to still be able to play too. I'm thinking of Goa specifically - I've been looking for it as I came in too late to buy it (I'm just now starting to accumulate games) and another friend of mine lost his in a fire so I was thinking of trying to replace it. Either way, out of print games being somehow still available is pretty cool. So there's my 2 cents worth. :) Nikki On Dec 28, 3:57 pm, Rob <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > An online platform for the digital purchase and online play of > (licensed) popular boardgames.
