The best new game I played this weekend was Jet Set. We played with
six, and I'm not sure it's best with that number (the large number of
available cards leads to a bit of AP), but it still worked.
Definitely interesting and tougher than it looks. A thoroughly
professional design by Kris Gould. I managed a 1 point victory as the
two players who got their Final Routes down early dominated. I want
to try this again with four, as I think that may be the sweet spot.

I also played Sushizock im Gockelwok for the first time. It's silly
fun and plays fast, but the decisions aren't nearly as interesting or
hard as in Pickomino. I'd play again, but I definitely prefer worms
over sushi.

Finally, we finished up with Chinatown, which was great as always. We
played the original Alea version, without the silly economic cards,
but with the Street Adjacency rule. The two experienced players led
the way, but I finished second by about $15M. Chinatown remains my
favorite trading game of all time and I'm always up for a game.
