Thanks for clarifying the important word 'If'. It seems most Hindus believe that the correct strategy is to be always ready to offer the other cheek for the slap IF and WHEN the Hindus are hit.

I wonder why somebody forgets the IF clause of his statement. If the IF clause of the statement is not made valid, the THEN clause for which so much of hooplah has been raised in the media automatically becomes null and void. And if somebody does something which ensure that the IF clause ( if somebody harms Hindus ) becomes true, what is wrong in talking about the THEN clause ( taking steps to punish the aggressor) ? -Regards Nishant _____
