Dear Friends, I am sorry to come back late on this but I am always late in catching up with my work. I will make some brief statements as to why I think Varun s statements during this years election campaign were inappropriate. 1. Bm, I belive is a non-religious party and that means we will never make any statements which are inflammatory to any community. 2. Bm, If has a candidate contesting elections and happens to get elected as a minister, also does not have any right to take law in their hands to cut other peoples hand. Friends, please understand this if he want to have a developed first world country there can be no one in our country taking law in their hands(other than during revolution where things are beyond improvement). Be it prime minister or minister or a novice 23 yr old like Varun Gandhi cannot take law in his hands. Public servant cannot at anytime talk about solving issues by violent means himself. 3. Making If statements and inflammatory statements are out of Question and never accepted or expected from an individual who is highly educated and qualified. 4. To a politically involved person with little maturity will know how immature the talks were.
I would love to discuss in detail on this issue. but I would urge everyone to post only those thing s, on which, you have studied and understood the topic. If there are great inspiring sayings or examples they are inspiring to all of us. but before putting up about any personality or individual or making any statements on any issue please observe more research and impact of such statements on BM as a political party. Also please face it if someone is educated understand that we cannot be physical or violent and if we cannot be violent why support anything like that ? If somebody slaps me on my face there could be 100 reasons why that person is doing that, and I will have 100 ways to reply back, including slapping but we are not talking about power here anyways, We are talking about ways to improve and solve issues in India not to intensify them. I wonder why somebody forgets the IF clause of his statement. If the IF clause of the statement is not made valid, the THEN clause for which so much of hooplah has been raised in the media automatically becomes null and void. And if somebody does something which ensure that the IF clause ( if somebody harms Hindus ) becomes true, what is wrong in talking about the THEN clause ( taking steps to punish the aggressor) ? -Regards Nishant
