Well I really feel sorry for you.But before charging the media one must realize the pattern in which media is working. As you said that the media people don't understand *** I don't say that he must be a civil engineer but he should have a basic knowledge on what he is reporting. atleast he can also get details from the contractor superviser but he cannot say what ever he feels by seeing on site"* here you must know that media people do get phone calls about the incident by the people from or around the place of occurrence. Moreover whenever in an incident there are chances for casualty the people related to management try to avoid media rather clarifying what actually happened. So madam do reinvestigate if your contractors were contacted or not. Its really easy to find faults but lets see what faults of ours is letting media go wild. Media can play all tunes because the people who come in news are afraid of Media. Want to know why..because everyone is wrong..and they dont want to condemn media and push media to investigate their darker side. Its not that easy to understand media.
