Thanks for all the input!  Obviously I had no idea what I was doing!
Good thing I asked.  As long as I'm at it, let me ask another Brooks-
related questions: I have the saddle tilted up slightly in the front,
but still feel like I'm sliding forward and putting a lot of pressure
on my hands.  Do you find that you need to tilt the brooks further
backward than other saddles?  Any other tips on maximizing comfort?
