Giri, great progress. A couple of questions still:
# do you plan to work on Debian side?
# you reference HCatalog 0.4.0, but I don't see it anywhere at Apache --
where are you getting the tarballs from?
# why is there (cd build) at the very end of the do-component-build ?
# the man page reads like a Hive man page, not an hcatalog one
# given that HCatalog is meant to be a better Hive metastore I'm surprised
not to see any init.d scripts, what gives?
