I reported an incident like this that happened to me last year or so on Regent (taking up the R lane for a short stretch) & basically all the MPD did was send me a self-report to fill out & then I don't recall hearing anything further. I did another online self-report sometime after that, same type of incident, but MPD didn't send me the form again & there was no followup.

A couple of the descriptions, such as the one on Old Middleton Road, suggest problems with the driver's abilities vs. resentment. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Harry Read Sent: Tuesday, November 09, 2010 8:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Bikies] Brush-by assaults Aren't Old Middleton Rd and Segoe Rds streets having recently widened or added bike lanes? Is it possible some of this is resentment among drivers who frequent these streets out of a sense of having to share more of "their road"? Just a thought.
