Peter White is also a distributor to other bike shops in North America, and
Cronometro has had an account with him since I bought my Inoled headlights

and DToplight (taillights)

from them a couple of years ago.

I've left them on my bike year round, been very happy with them since, and
have done absolutely nothing to them (other than move one set from one bike
to another) over what is about to be their third winter.

I have been using a hub generator, with both head- and taillights, for a long
time. They used to be good in the halolgen era, but in the LED era now they
are great.

This is not something the LBS's around here have much info on, however. I've
bought mine from Peter White in the Boston area and been very satisfied:
http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/ He has lots of info on the site, even if you
buy elsewhere.

I have a Schmidt hub generator, with LED lights that have capacitor storage,
so they stay lit when you stop at an intersection. There are other generators
(rim and bottom bracket) and many kinds of lights. But I'm very happy with
this system and would be glad to show it off if anyone would like to see it.

Who has pedal powered bike lights (i.e. generator lights)? Any that you
like/don't like? I'm looking to compare price, usefulness, sustainability,
etc.
