Perhaps the rider is lane specific?
(ok, I'll stop now..if anything shouldn't be political IMHO..its biking and 
cycling..in face the root word of "conservative" fits cycling to a t..plus, its 
just too dang much fun and good for ya! those who don't do it should find out

So, on an independent path there *isn't* a centerline to determine what side of 
the bike path we're on? And, are we then allowed to weave from one side to the 
other side depending on which way the wind blows?
