Hi Mark,

Thanks for evaluating. My biggest suggestion would be to use a solid white
line marking for the right hand lane as is done in many other places
(including further south on Park St.) In my experience, these
bus/bike/right turn designated lanes accommodate bike traffic well.
Reinforcing that designation with new/refreshed signage and addt'l
restricted traffic markings within the lane would also help reinforce. A
connected issue for cyclists is the traffic signal at Parr Rd and S. Park.
Trying to cross Park onto Fish Hatchery is nearly impossible if there are
no MVs on Parr to trigger the green. Instead, cyclists must go onto the
sidewalk in front of Barriques and request to cross at the crosswalk, which
still doesn't stop traffic coming off of Fish Hatchery. This is a big
challenge and on a very popular and otherwise well provisioned bike route
(around Monona Bay).

I've copied the Bikies listserv in case others have suggestions or comments
for improving this section of S. Park St. Thanks again for following up.
