Despite my correction to my first posting of the directions, the initial incorrect location of the pull-off for parking continues to be repeated in various subsequent posts...
The pull-off with the chain across the road on the south side of Dundas is WEST of Tremaine Rd. There is also a pull-off to road with a chained gate east of Tremaine, but the trail from there does not easily lead to the hydro right-of-way and the Dickcissel(s). The road/tractor path running south from the western pull-off leads easily to the hydro poles. I drove past today and saw a group returning to their vehicles at the eastern pull-off, and it only brought to mind the fruitless and confused half-hour I spent in the blazing sun there myself, until I saw the hydro poles in the distance to the west.
