A female Varied Thrush has been feeding along Paxton Drive in Presqu'ile Park for much of this morning (Oct. 2). Follow the signs from Brighton to the Park, and once in the Park follow the signs to the lighthouse. Then drive/cycle/walk up the one-way Paxton Drive for about a kilometre. When you find a paved trail on the left blocked by three big boulders, you have just passed the area where it has been feeding, often with Hermit and Swainson's Thrushes. This is believed to be the first record of that species for the Park.
