Festival of Flight report for May 5; Rain all day and cooler temps kept
bird sightings low. South Point Trail has flooded sections so if you are
coming for the Yellow-breasted Chat bring rubber boots. A total of 11
warblers seen in the park including the Prothonotary on Tulip Trail. The
Visitors Centre offers close up looks at the regular feeder species plus
Red-bellied Woodpeckers, White-crowned Sparrows and Baltimore Orioles.
Rusty Blackbirds can be found near the Pony Barns.
