If you use curly braces, your smart editor can re-indent things for you
automatically.

If you use a dumb editor, you still have to scoot things into place. 
People that use Notepad are used to that kind of thing already.  I'd
even be tempted to argue that Notepad users are more comfortable with
Python than with other languages... I say this only because there are a
shocking number Notepad+Python users.

I've seen hundreds of people take to python over the years, and this is
not a complaint I'm used to hearing.  Perhaps I've been soaking too long.
