I am a newbie to this list. There's about 60 - 70 Barbado in my herd, of different breeds, several are Black Belly. One of my older ewes is due now.
Although people are interested in Christmas shopping, gift-giving, etc, many, esp in the south, are interested in cabrito for the Christmas holidays. I have about 20 assorted rams, ages 4mos to 12 mos. They were wormed in late October so there should be no residue left in their meat. All are intact. Also have bred ewes for sale. Just wondering, am I only allowed to "advertise" such on Fridays, as on other lists/groups?
