Kaopectate.  Approx 4 cc  , I would give it every 4 hours for 1 day.  Use an old syringe without the needle and squeeze it slowly into his mouth.
Is he bottle fed or nursing?  If bottle are you using a milk replacer?  Overfeeding can cause scours.

Subject: [blackbelly] Lamb problem

I have a 2 week old ramlamb that is laying around making a whining-like sound and when he stood to poop I noticed he had traces of feces on his back legs kinda like scours. He humped over and tried to poop and started whining again. He has also been holding his ears down like he is sick. Do you think he needs de-worming?  DeCoccidiocis?  If so, what brand or type of wormer or decox medication would you recommend for a two week old? And how much?  I want to jump on it now before he really goes downhill. Even though I have had many lambs to date, I have never had this happen, to my knowledge. Advice anyone?
