A squeeze of alfalfa is a stack of 68 or 88 bales of hay, weighing about 80 to 100 per each bale. So, 68 bales at $6/bale = $408.
Here in my area of AZ, we have no pasture. So we feed only alfalfa. I feed anywhere from 150 to 200 bales per month. I have a bunch of horses. So it does get costly feeding animals that aren't carrying thier own weight.
