The U.S. government is running a little behind on this year's ewe lamb retention program. (That's the program where the feds will pay you $18 for each ewe lamb you purchased or retained between Aug. 1, 2003, and July 31, 2004.) I believe the Lamb Meat Adjustment program ended in July 2003, but they may have extended it. You need to contact your Farm Services Agency for both programs.
