Diana mentioned the "Lamb Country Cooking" cookbook and indeed it is a good book. However, I wanted to let you know that around October 1, the BBSAI is publishing its own cookbook entitled "Lamb Lovers Cookbook." This cookbook will contain over 250 recipes, including lots of ethnic dishes, casseroles, BBQs, crock-pot and pressure cooker recipes, Weight-Watcher recipes, and recipes for every cut of lamb you can imagine. There also are recipes for making sausage (even one that doesn't require any special equipment or casings) and rubs.

I will post a link to where you can purchase this cookbook when it is released. The price is undetermined right now, but it will be a bargain. There aren't very many lamb cookbooks in print right now. Lamb Country Cookbook is the main one (100 recipes for $11). The BBSAI cookbook will have more than double that number of recipes and most importantly, will give you a really great index to help you quickly find a recipe. It will be filled with photos of beautiful Barbados Blackbelly and Barbado sheep. You will want one for yourself and several more for gifts...just in time for Christmas!
