Feedstuff Values (in percentages)
ie. hay types, grains, etc

Our mineral block has a protein source, I don't have the label, but I think
18% if I remember correctly.<memory does fail me> They nibble on this as they
wish.

Our current pasture has turned poor, long dry periods and the additional
sheep. The fescue seed didn't take so, I added Timothy with alfalfa hay recently
to supplement. We're about to start fencing more land in the next week to
give them additional grazing pasture. (well, dh, not me <grin>) I've, also,
started giving them some (1 cup once or twice a week)oats as the current pastures
are no longer available to graze.

In August/September we'll be re-seeding the current pasture areas with fescue.

This past winter, I supplemented the fescue hay with a pelleted Sheep formula
made by Southern States. (the coldest month(s), I measured 2 cups per sheep,
generally 4-5days a week, then weaned them to 1, then 1/2cup as the pastures
started greening, then none once they were off hay and solely on pasture)

This was my routine and because I considered our purchase of fescue hay to be
POOR quality.
This winter, I plan on buying a better quality of hay and provide less grain,
overall.
Everybody does it differently.
