Hello everyone,
I am new to your website and new to raising Barbados sheep. I have one female, "Sally", who I bought from my neighbor. She is about 4 years old, and is pretty domesticated for a sheep. She enjoys being brushed , scratched, and interaction in general.
My question is this -
What is "normal" aggression from a female Barbados? She wants to head butt (?) with myself and my husband, which we thought was a form of play with her but I'm not really sure? I don't want to encourage aggressive behavior  if thats what it is. As far as the other sheep are concerned, she has done this, but only with the oldest and weakest of the bunch.
Any advice on what might be causing this behavior and/or what to do would be greatly appreciated.
Dayna
