When i started research to get my sheep, i read a
lot about guardian animals. I was not going to get a
dog, since i have bull terriers in the house and have
a really hard time thinking of dogs as anything but
pets. It turns out my guardian animal problem solved
itself. Our ram became very aggressive, so i
wewhetheredim. An older lady was going into hospice
and needed apa placeo retire her pet goat. It turns
out the goat is tall with sharp horns and he knows how
to use them.

The BBB wewhethernd the goat wewhetherhaving sorted
out their own pecking order make a very formidable
tandem against any dog or coyote. Last year, lost
three sheep to coyotes, this year, since the two
wewhethersre in with the ewes, O losses. They are
excellent with the lambs, and guard the ewes. I
have seen them flatten a golden retriever that got in
with the sheep to "play". I actually thought they
might kill it, but the dog was able to run away.

Hey, in nature the male had horns for a reason, maybe
if we used the way god made them,,,,, and let the
males run with the ewes naturally.. pairing the sheep
with other species might be ununnecessary Has anyone
else tried this?

Friendship is an horizon that expands as we approach it.
