I have Spottie the orphan back in the house tonight. I had her penned up in with her mom & brother since Saturday, trying to reunite the family (while continuing to feed her formula twice a day).
Today I let mom go.. and Spottie is still an orphan. She wanders around calling for someone.... this afternoon as I watched from afar... the sheep wandered off to graze out back & Spottie didn't follow them. She stayed up at the barn. So.. I brought her in.

Now that she's in... I see she keeps squatting to pee. She dribbles a bit...or makes small puddles... but is squatting WAY too much. Can she be blocked? From what?? It's now 7:30 here, and if she's blocked we're talking ER fees etc etc... Can a 5 day old lamb get blocked?
I've Googled, and found talk of rams & whethers with calculi... but nothing yet about lambs.

AAAACCCCCKKK!
Help appreciated.

Diane
