Recommendation: Don't let your blackbox session kill your work. I have this in my .xinitrc: ---- blackbox & xterm ---- This way, if blackbox exits... my work is fine... it's not until 'xterm' exists that my X session is over. Also, I've run alpha8 for more than 30 hours without a problem, what apps are you running?
