The given examples only provide commands in order to make clear that
they need to be unpacked in the current directory. Freetype appears to
be the exception, but when it comes right down to it it's a case of
author preference. BLFS is descriptive by nature, it exists to _teach_
you why you're doing things, it doesn't just throw a bunch of commands
at you and say, "follow these and it will be done". Personally I think
it's insulting to the users to state explicitly such an obvious command.
Catering for auto-build scripts is not our forte, and if a user wishes
to use such a thing then they would do so without our support. However,
at the end of the day Randy has the final word, and if he says we should
cater for auto-build then we will.
