I will take responsibility for mucking up the instructions. When I changed the --enable-extensions= line in the current instructions, I put in the whitespace not knowing this didn't work. Unfortunately, my build script has them all on one line so I never encountered this issue. (moral - make your build scripts match what is in the book for testing book instructions!) Kind of a rock and a hard place here. We can't have instructions that extend past about 71 characters, and it would be nice to have the parameters lined up in the book's instructions. Unfortunately, it appears that we cannot have it both ways. I suppose we'll have to combine the parameters to as few lines as possible (2 should be okay) and move the stuff after the backslash to the left margin. It'll look funny, but at least it will be cut-and-pasteable. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 09:44:01 up 120 days, 9:17, 2 users, load average: 0.24, 0.24, 0.27 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
