While you're at it, there are other programs in extragear/multimedia that deserve a closer look, namely: kaffeine: an audio, video, dvb player that uses xinelib amarok: an audioplayer and collection organiser that can use xine or arts for output. Both are much better than what's in kdemultimedia (IMHO, of course). Maybe there should be a chapter "Other kde programs". Check them (and k3b) out with svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/extragear/multimedia Note: You may get a compile error with __u64 something. Remove "-ansi" from the CFLAGS in admin/acinclude.m4.in to fix.
