Actually, it doesn't clarify it a bit for me, as Xorg-7 does one thing and all other X installations do another thing. This must be identified, especially when there is text in BLFS that claims the installations are the same, only a build method separates them. At this point, and what the subject was all about, is that the LibTIFF instructions are wrong.
