Although its not in the BLFS book, I like the rox file manager. It has a
clean, fast interface, and seems like it's fairly intuitive for new users as
well as advanced users; a neat feature for advanced users is that for most of
the traditional menu-based or drag-and-drop file manager actions you
initiate, rox will actually open up a text dialog box that shows the command
(cp, mv, chmod, etc) being executed along with its output.
