The first step in getting something included into BLFS would be to create a hint for the package(s). If there is community interest and an editor is willing to accept responsibility and future maintenance of the package(s), there is a good chance it would get added. But it can't really go anywhere until a hint is created. As I said, this is the best way to get something into the book.
