Thanks, Dan. Unfortunately, I still can't get xorg-server-1.1.0 to compile against MesaLib-6.5.1. Here's the latest error which is proving elusive in tracking down (several other errors follow it, but they're all pretty similar so getting this one should fix the others): ../../GL/mesa/.libs/libGLcore.a(driverfuncs.o): In function `_mesa_init_driver_functions': drivers/common/driverfuncs.c:225: undefined reference to `_mesa_new_array_object' The command line is ridiculously long, but it's when it's trying to compile the stuff in hw/vfb.
This guy on the xorg list said they had a fix in the pardus distro. http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2006-September/018382.html http://svn.pardus.org.tr/viewcvs/devel/desktop/freedesktop/xorg/xorg-server/files/xorg-x11-server-1.1.1-mesa-6.5.1.patch?root=%22pardus%22&view=markup But, if you already applied the patch to just do the for loops with *.{c,h} to symlink-mesa.sh, then this wouldn't be the same issue. Oh, but it also adds a couple needed files to the Makefile. Try using the patch above for the least pain, or cobble it together from xserver commits. Or just go back to Mesa-6.5 for now. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
