I have: CONFIG_USB_SUPPORT=y CONFIG_USB_ARCH_HAS_HCD=y CONFIG_USB_ARCH_HAS_OHCI=y CONFIG_USB_ARCH_HAS_EHCI=y CONFIG_USB=y CONFIG_USB_DEBUG=y CONFIG_USB_ANNOUNCE_NEW_DEVICES=y CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS=y CONFIG_USB_SUSPEND=y CONFIG_USB_MON=y CONFIG_USB_EHCI_HCD=y CONFIG_USB_OHCI_HCD=y CONFIG_USB_OHCI_LITTLE_ENDIAN=y CONFIG_USB_UHCI_HCD=y CONFIG_USB_PRINTER=y [ 2.409578] ohci_hcd: USB 1.1 'Open' Host Controller (OHCI) Driver [ 2.409826] ohci_hcd: block sizes: ed 80 td 96 [ 2.409851] uhci_hcd: USB Universal Host Controller Interface driver [ 2.410158] uhci_hcd 0000:00:1a.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 [ 2.410411] uhci_hcd 0000:00:1a.0: setting latency timer to 64 [ 2.410413] uhci_hcd 0000:00:1a.0: UHCI Host Controller The first two lines are the only ohci lines in dmesg. Many more usb messages e.g. hubs, etc I really didn't pay a lot of attention to USB when configuring. I only use the USB for mouse and keyboard, and *very* occasionally for an external drive. My printer is is USB, but that is on my wife's ubuntu system. -- Bruce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
