Hey co-listers:
I've installed LFS 7.5 and, following BLFS 7.5 "About Devices" section,
I've disabled udev and created static devices.
All run fine.
To install Xorg 7.7 I wasn't be able to get keyboard and mouse working.
Then I installed
xf86-input-keyboard-1.8.0.tar.bz2
and
xf86-input-mouse-1.9.0.tar.bz2
and I inserted
Option "AutoAddDevices" "false"
in the ServerLayout section of xorg.conf.
Both devices are running now but I don't know if I've done the right
thing and the version of both tarballs are correct.
Is it a must to install these tarballs?
Is there a better solution?
