That sounds like a firewall issue regarding blocked emails. I would check
your settings for your firewall and make sure the block is not selected.
There are 3 choices...allow all, block, stand alone computer*this is the one
I have mine set on*
Open the AVG from your desktop and when the list of components are given
arrow down to firewall and enter on it and tab across to see what your
firewall settings are. Did you when you installed it accept all the
defaults?
