Hi everybody,
I do have a specific password and I did get sighted help to put in the
serial code off of the router itself. Funny though, when I first hooked it
all up, there were about 5 neighbors networks that were just wide open. I
just moved into this area so don't know who they all are. If I did, I'd warn
them that they are wide open and anybody can hook up to their networks.
I may have to contact the manufacturer of the router. Like I said, I can get
on to the internet, but when I try to go to another web site, it just
disconnects and I have to reboot.
Thanks for your ideas though.
Ken

Subject: [Blind-Computing] computer on wireless network keeps
losingconnection
Hello everyone,
I just hooked up a home wireless network. I have XP Pro and hooked up a
NETGEAR WGR614v9 router. The computer that is connected wirelessly keeps
losing connection. I can go on the internet or get my Email, but then it
loses connection and I have to reboot the computer to get connected again.
Any ideas on what setting I might be missing or what I need to do to keep
this from happening?
Thanks,
Ken
