I am going to have to hope for the device itself. This is because this
router is about 5 years old and I never registered it. Perhaps I will call
the company.

There usually is a serial code on routers to prevent anyone else to log into
your wlan connection and router. You may have to get sighted help for this,
I needed with mine until I wrote it on a text file on my pc. Usually you
will find this number on the device itself and/or on the wrapper of the
installation cd that usually comes with it.

I have a question, "Is there a password or something on the router"? I also
have a netgear router. Everything is connected but it asks me for a
password. Do you know what the problem might be?
