Hi, 1. Minimize all programs with Windows Key Plus M. 2. Press F3 to bring up the Search utility. 3. Type in services.exe which is the file name you want to find. 4. Tab twice and type c:\windows in the lookin field followed by enter to start the search. 5. When the search is complete (you can check your status line, press F6 to get to the list of results and copy one of the files to your clipboard. 6. Close the search utility with Alt F4. 7. Using My Computer, navigate to your Windows directory and paste the services.exe file.
If you get a "cannot replace" or similar error then the file is actually there but something else is wrong. It might then be time for a serious malware and virus scan.
