Patricia, what is hw? And where oh where is there an absolutely comprehensive set of fail safe directions for the process of of downloading books from nls unzipping them and putting them on the cartridge. Definitions would be great, also. I have received at least three different sets of directions from people trying to be helpful and, so far, I have not gotten this process right. Any ideas? : An extra note to this.. : If you have a thumb drive, cartridge, or the disk from the stream connected : to your computer at the time you have unzipped the books and before you tab : to have them unzip, there's selections in HW software to have the books not : only unzipped, but sent directly to your choice of storage device. : : Patricia : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Patricia" <pzoell...@tx.rr.com> : To: <blind-computing@jaws-users.com> : Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 2010 10:47 AM : Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] help witih nls cartridge-need directions : : : > Did you install the software from your stream? : > The stream's software recognizes the nls zipped books.
