I imagine the Windows Update servers are just extremely busy! Microsoft released it's largest numberr of security patches to date on Tuesday! I think I had about 14 different security downloads waiting. Make sure that you have downloaded and installed all Windows Updates this week! Now that these vulnerabilities are publicised, the virus writers will attack all computers whose users are not diligent with these updates or have it done automatically.

I wonder if the timing of these fixes had anything to do with being so close to the Black Hat Security convention recently? There was even a major security hole disclosed regarding ATM machines.

There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] MSE update failures

Anyone else been having difficulty with MSE staying updated
automatically today and earlier this week? Even when
clicking on the update button in the MSE interface it won't
complete successfully. I've had this problem occasionally in
the past and it has always self corrected in time.
