Go to the start menu and look for an item called windows Update or Microsoft
Update and press enter. Wait until the page loads and you will be presented
with a list of necessary updates for your computer. Service Pack 3 will be
one of these updates. Its about 300 megs in size so may take a bit to
download and install. You can also opt to download the service pack and
download directly from your computer.

In short, you do not need sighted help to install service pack 3. It is
completely something you can do by yourself, especially if you've ever used
Windows Update.

Hi, David,

I tried installing SP 3 and messed up the computer so I had to have one of
my nephews do a system restore. I do have a friend who installed SP 3 so
I'll ask him how he did it. He said he did it all by himself.
