I don't believe you need a tech for this. All you need is someone sighted. When they turn on the computer have them hit f8 repeatedly after hitting the power button. Some options should come up one being boot order or something like that. They will know when they see it. It could also very possibly just be doing a scan disk. Try just letting it go for a bit and seeing if it comes back on. Give it at least a half an hour.
