Hi Jacob, Outlook 2003 is still running in the system tray after using alt f4. I did try closing from the file menu, but Outlook remained in the system tray. Thanks for your help, as I wasn't sure what was going on. Allen

I think that exiting off the item on the file menu is meant to not make this happen, but, you can in any case check system tray icons using jaws key + F11 once you've closed it to make sure it's not running down there in system tray.
