Hi
     You might want to create a short cut to:
C:\Windows\System32\SndVol.exe
Then one just clicks the Icon and tabs to mute and hits enter. I hope this

Thanks yep I see that too. What I'm looking for 
is something to quickly mute or turn down volume 
when the phone rings or the like without having 
to  dig deep in a key sequence :). Thanks for the 
input though, that is first base if nothing else.
