Or, maybe there are different versions of Office 2010. Next week when I get back in the office, I will check it out and see what happens on my work computer running Windows 7, Office 2010 and JAWS 12.

I was able to duplicate in JAWS 12 with and without virtual ribbons. Must be because I'm using XP and you are using Windows 7? I'm not using the virtual ribbon, so that might be the issue. I'm using XP Pro, JAWS 13 and the virtual ribbons. Later I'll send myself something and turn off the virtual ribbons and see if that may be it. I still have JAWS 12 too so will play with that too and let you know Al -----Original Message----- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Annette Carr Sent: Friday, January 06, 2012 2:12 PM To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Excel 2010 - Protected View Hi Al, F6 and then down arrow is not working for me. I am using Office 2010 on a Window7 machine running JAWS 12. When I press F6 the down arrow moves me through 3 browsing options. Any ideas on why it is not working for me? This is something new with Office 2010, and might have also been a part of Office 2007 when a file is sent to you from somewhere else. I'm going to give you some directions below, but since I do not have a protected doc to open I cannot be sure of the exact wording of some of the items you need to select. 1. Alt+F to open the File menu. 2. Down arrow to the Information Tab. 3. Right arrow to Enable. 4. Press enter.
